SAMBA, July 8: Strengthen the Congress party at grass root level so that the programmes and policies of AICC to benefit the down trodden and poor masses will be achieved.
This was stated by Member Legislative Council (MLC) Rani Gargi Bloeria, during a meeting of office leaders, Panchs, Sarpanchs, women leaders and Kissan leaders of Vijaypur constituency.
She further said that UPA Government’s biggest ever achievement was to get Food Security Bill implemented, by which more than half of population of India will get benefited.
Bloeria asked the people to approach her with their grievances, so that she can take up their problems with the authorities concerned for early redressal.
Earlier, Surinder Choudhary, Chairman, Panchayat Rangoor camp highlighted various problems being faced by the people in Vijaypur constituency including removal of old transformers and electric wires.
He demanded un-interrupted power supply in the area so that people of the area will not face problems while irrigating the paddy fields and other farms.
Choudhary also demanded regular supply of sugar and kerosene oil among ration card holders.
Among others who spoke were former Congress district working president Sujan Singh Slathia, Sarabjit Singh, Ajit Lal, Rehmat Ali, Tarsem Verma, Mool Raj, Shiv K Choudhary and Balbir Singh.
