JAMMU, Dec 18: Strikers XI defeated Youth Cricekt Club Bhalessa by 7 wickets in the All India T20 Cricket Championship, being played at MA Stadium, here.
Winning the toss and batting first, YCC Bhalessa scored a modest total of 126 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Amir Ashraf Rather top scored with 42 runs off 37 balls, studded with 5 delectabel boundaries, while Rahul and irshad contributed 32 and 22 runs respectively. For Strikers Club, Akash Manhas took 3 wickets, while Deepak Dogra bagged 2 and Sachin Sudan claimed one.
In reply, Strikers XI chased the target by losing 3 wickets, thus won the match by 7 wickets. Anil Singh top scored with 56 runs, while Amit Sharma and Vikran Singh contributed 35 and 23 runs to the total respectively. Vishal Raina took 2 wickets, while Vinay claimed one.
The match was officiated by Sachin Singh and Arun Kumar as umpires, while Virender Singh was the scorer.
