UDHAMPUR, Oct 19: A 15-year old scooty rider died while his teenaged classmate, who was pillion rider, sustained critical injuries when their two-wheeler was hit by an unidentified vehicle near D C office, here today.
The deceased was identified as Naresh Singh (15), son of Surat Singh of Jadrod, Ramnagar. He succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital while condition of his friend Gourva Badyal (16), son of Sham Kumar of Shiv Nagar Udhampur was also stated to be critical.
Both of them are the students of Happy Modal School.
According to the reports, the Scooty bearing registration number JK14D-5424, was hit by an unidentified vehicle and both the injured where rushed to hospital by locals.
However, doctors declared Naresh Singh as brought dead following which some relatives and friends of the deceased also created a scene there by alleging that the injured succumbed to his injuries because of delay in providing him treatment by the doctors.
