Students bring laurels to Kishtwar Campus

JAMMU, May 21: The students of Kishtwar Campus of Jammu University bagged 1st position in the State level seminar on the eve of world technology day. The seminar was organized by Islamic University of Science and Technology Awantipura, Kashmir on the topic “Latest Trends in Information Security”.
Students of 12 universities and Technical Institutions participated in the seminar. The students of Kishtwar Campus gave two Power Point Presentations on the topic, which were highly appreciated by one and all including Technical experts and the audience. The Kishtwar Campus students team included Suram Singh and Vipul Katoch, both students M Sc IT Kishtwar Campus. Mohd Naseeir-ul-Haq, Head Department of IT was the teacher Incharge.  The 1st prize was given to the students of Kishtwar campus by Vice Chancellor of Central University Kashmir Prof Mehraj-ud-Din and Vice Chancellor Awantipura University Dr A R Targ.
The Vice Chancellor of Jammu University congratulated the students for brining laurels to the Kishtwar campus. The Director of Kishtwar Campus, Prof Shohab Inayat Malik too greeted the team and informed that students of Kishtwar Campus would be provided more and more platforms in near future so that they could demonstrate their hidden talent.
