JAMMU, Feb 26: A three day long student exchange programme between MIER College of Education, Jammu and GHG Khalsa College of Education, Ludhiana concluded. This holistic and enriching experience showcased the collaborative spirit and cultural diversity between the two institutions.
The exchange programme, executed under the guidance of Dr Adit Gupta and Dr Pragat Singh Garcha, Principals of MIER College and GHG Khalsa College, respectively, involved the participation of 28 students from the School of Education and the School of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Accompanied by faculty members, Chottu Ram Jangra and Nandini Puri, the group engaged in a meticulously planned series of events aimed at fostering academic, sports, and cultural exchange.
The IQAC team at GHG Khalsa College played a crucial role in coordinating the exchange programme, ensuring a seamless experience for both faculties and students throughout the programme.
Highlights of the exchange included athletic and sports events, cultural performances, student interactions, visits to historical sites, and celebrations of International Mother Tongue Day.
The students of MIER College excelled in sports, winning numerous medals and bringing laurels to their institution. The programme concluded with a felicitation ceremony where Dr Pragat Singh Garcha awarded an ‘Award of Appreciation’ to the MIER College delegation.
