JAMMU, Aug 28: Admission seekers from Jammu district, under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Students Union (JKSU), held a protest demonstration in front of the office of Divisional Commissioners Jammu, against Cluster University, Jammu.
The protesting students, led by Lucky Singh, were demanding open admission to all class 12th pass outs for the 2018-19 session.
They assembled at Main Gate of the Div Com office and raised slogans against the authorities of Cluster University. The students alleged mismanagement in admission process by the Cluster University authorities.
Later, a delegation of JKSU met Additional Secy Rahul Sharma at the office of Div Com Jammu and apprised him about the issue of admission. The authorities assured that the matter will be resolved at the earliest.
The protesting students included Sunpreet Kour, Sonakshi, Malvika Bhawna Anshu, Manmeet Kour, Priya, Gagan, Paramver Singh, Micheal, Sanjana Jamwal, Mehak Sharma and others.
