KATHUA, May 11: The students of Degree College, Kathua held a protest demonstration against the new semester system examination, today.
The students raised slogans in support of their demands and demanded to roll back this pattern as a number of brilliant students failed in B.A. part I examination, recently due to adoptation of new pattern. To lodge their protest they blocked busy National Highway for one hour at Kalibari putting inconvenience to the general public.
Later, on the assurance of Tehsildar Kathua and College Principal the students pacified the protest and dispersed.
