UDHAMPUR, Sept 30: Students of Government Higher Secondary School Tikri today held a strong demonstration for filling up the vacant post of Lecturer Chemistry.
The protesting students, including girls, also staged a dharna on the National Highway disrupting vehicular movement.
Raising slogans in support of their demand, the protest students lamented that due to no Lecturer of Chemistry for the last four months, their studies were suffering badly. Despite repeated requests made in this regard, no action was taken by the concerned authorities, they further alleged.
