SAMBA, Dec 25: Study Circle Kathua won the first match by 34 runs in the 4th Annual T-20 Cricket tournament by defeating Jatwal team at Rai Sports Stadium in Ghagwal, here today.
Earlier, Study Circle won the toss and decided to bat first. They gave a target of 126 runs in stipulated 20 overs, while Jatwal team failed to chase the target and bundled out at 92 runs in 18.2 overs and lost the match.
DDC Ghagwal Suresh Kumar Falli and senior BJP leader Rachpal Verma were the chief guests. They inaugurated the tournament by cutting the ribbon. The championship is being organized by Channi Cricket Club.
Yuvraj (Yuvi) and Rakesh Sharma were the umpires of the match.
