JAMMU, Apr 9: J&K Sports Powerlifting Association is organizing Sub-Junior State Bench-Press, Deadlift and Powerlifting Trials/ Champion-ship (M&W) on May 4, 2019 at BJD Gym Friends Club Paloura, here.
The trials will be held to pick the players for the upcoming National Sub-Junior Bench-Press, Deadlift and Powerlifting (Equipped & Unequipped) Championship to be held at Begampur (Delhi) from June 2 to June 4, 2019.
According to a handout issued here, the Association has invited the players desirous to take part in the trials.
The Association will also conduct trials for powerlifters of J&K to participate in the Asian Bench-Press Championship on the same date and at the same venue.
The decision in this regard was taking in a meeting held at office of J&K Sports Powerlifting Association which was attended by Rajan Jain (General Secretary), Narender Singh Manhas (Secretary), Iqbal Singh (Joint Secretary), Hardeep Singh (Joint Secretary) along with other officials.
