JAMMU, July 22: Two days long district activities of Archery Association Jammu & Kashmir was organized at MA Stadium Jammu. The Championship was organized under the aegis of J&K Sports Council.
Archers from Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur, Rajouri, Poonch, Doda and Ramban districts participated in the Sub Junior Category of Boys and Girls. JP Singh (Retd) IG was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed medals and certificates among the winners.
Rajeev Sharma, Member J&K Sports Council, Senior Vice President, Archery Association, Vikram Singh, President Archery Association and Sharat Chander, General Secretary Athletic Association were also present on the occasion.
The results were district Jammu; Gold- Harjot Singh, Charandeep, Ashank, Vinny Gupta, Feriha, Manya, Paramjoot and Jaivardhan Singh. While silver medal winners were Hargovind Singh, Japleen Kour, Kalyanay, Jeet, Jeet, Tanvi, Kinjal, Rishit and Kartik Singh. The bronze medal winner’s were-Aarit, Kaaya, Siddhart, Sarvagya, Sambhavi, Sarvagya and Nitish Bawa.
District Kathua; Gold medal winners were Samar, Hetal Rai, Metnansh, Mrityonjay and Mrityonjay. Doda district Gold medal winners were Harshveer, Vanshika and Harshveer. Silver: Ariz, Satavya and Mahnoor won gold for Rajouri. Manikarnika, Sam won gold for Samba and Antra won gold for Ramban.
