JAMMU, Oct 29: Two days Speedball Sub-Junior Online Single and Solo Championship, organised by J&K Sports Speed Ball Association (JKSBA), concluded, here today.
About 30 players from different schools participated in the championship.
Keshav Sharma of Army School Sunjwan, Nirlambh Singh of Indra Public School, Aneesh Sharma of Air Force School, Umair of DPS Nagbani and Raj Karan Singh of Air Force School excelled in Single event while Shurya Hans of Jodhamal Public School, Harshit Choudhary of Banyan International School, Rajkaran Singh of Air Force School and Samarjeet Singh of DPS Jammu succeeded to win Solo event of the championship. All of them were selected for Inter-District Speedball Championship.
RK Katoch, Director Tourism was the chief guest of the concluding ceremony while Ravi Tikku president of JKSBA, Kamal Gupta, Aditi Vasandi, Pawan Kumar and Sanya Mahajan were guest of honours. Saurav Arora, Cluster Head AUSFB interacted with winners and congratulated them.
The event was sponsored by Au Small Finance Bank. The event was organised under the supervision of Sunny Nanda, general secretary of the Association.The competitions were officiated by Gurmanjeet Singh, Parkash Singh, Manpreet Kour and Renu Devi.
The chief guest distributed medals among the winning players.
