JAMMU, Nov 16: In an impressive but simple function at Marh, former Minister and MLA Marh Ch. Sukhnandan Kumar distributed 100 suits among the poor & needy persons of the area including 50 females and 50 males.
The function was organised by a Non Governmental Organisation namely Helpage Social Welfare Society. On the occasion former Minister said that State Government is committed to the welfare of the weaker section of the society. He also appreciated the NGO for conducting such welfare schemes for the poor people.
Chairman of the NGO Surinder Singh, general secretary, Ashok Kumar, ex. Sarpanch Harjeet Singh, Rajinder Kumar Moti, Rajan Kumar, Babbu Sharma & other prominent people of the area were also present on the occasion.
