BARAMULLA, Nov 4: Sultan Warriors emerged triumphant in the Gen Bipin Rawat Memorial Cricket Tournament by securing victory with a commanding margin of 7 runs in the final match.
The Tournament held in the picturesque Baramulla district and was orchestrated under the auspices of the Dagger Division/Himalayan Brigade/Baramulla Rashtriya Rifles. The T20 format cricket championship unfolded its splendor from the 15th October and concluded today.
This spectacular event witnessed an awe-inspiring total of 52 participating teams engaging in 50 thrilling contests over the course of 20 exhilarating days, culminating in a grand finale today. In the riveting climax, set amidst the hallowed confines of the Jhelum Stadium, Sultan Warriors emerged triumphant.
The grand spectacle reached its splendid culmination today, graced by a resplendent closing ceremony at the Jhelum Stadium. The chief guest for this sporting extravaganza, Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, GOC Chinar Corps, presided over the occasion, graciously bestowing honors upon the triumphant teams and the recipients of various accolades.
