JAMMU, Sept 29: Representing India, talented and strong lifter Sumit Gupta of Jammu and Kashmir has brought laurels to the State as also to the Country by winning silver medal in 66 kg weight category in the recently held Asian Bench Press Championship held at Kazakistan by lifting 120 kg.
Sumit was selected by the Indian Power lifting Federation to represent the Country in the selection trials held at Mount Abu in Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, Ajay Sharma, Joint Secretary, All J&K State Power Lifting Association has congratulated the ace lifter for this landmark achievement.
