Summer Kabaddi Coaching Camps to begin from June 22

JAMMU, June 10: Summer Kabaddi Coaching Camp for Junior Boys will be conducted at Mendhar in district Poonch in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.
General Secretary Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association Kuldeep Kumar Gupta said that 21 day long Summer Kabaddi Coaching Camp for Junior Boys will be conducted from June 22 to 13 July under the guidance of President Anil Gupta. For the Kashmir Province, the Coaching Camp will be held at Bandipora from June 25 to July 16.
The eligibility age is under 23 years and weight is below 80 kg and during the three weeks Summer Kabaddi Coaching Camp free boarding-lodging, Food and Refreshment will be provided to them.
Gupta said that 70 players from Jammu Province will be short listed and 70 players from Kashmir Zone will also be shortlisted for three weeks. Summer Kabaddi Coaching Camp will be conducted by the coaches to improve their skills, chisel and polish the budding Kabaddi Players of Jammu and Kashmir (UT).
The camp shall commence under the supervision of the General Secretary of the Association and will be overseen by Mir Alam National Medalist. Basharat Khan District President shall be the organizing secretary of the camp.
The coaches deputed by the J&K Sports Council shall provide their expertise to the budding Kabaddi players and lectures for learning and practically in different techniques shall be delivered by them.
All the eligible players are invited to register themselves on or before July 15 and only 70 players from each division shall be short listed for the summer Kabaddi Coaching Camp. The contact numbers are 9419108337 and 9419143492.
