MENDHAR, Feb 12: The police arrested a Sumo driver and his two associates and recovered eight pouches of liquor from the vehicle.
Reports said that police party during naka at Mankote intercepted Tata Sumo No. JK-12/3450 and found its driver Liaqat Ahmed of Kalaban in drunken condition. During search of the vehicle 8 pouches of liquor were also seized. His two associates Zubair Ahmed and Mohd Ashiq were also detained by the police. They too, belong to Kalaban area.
