JAMMU, Aug 14: Cross Country organized by Young Athletic Club was held at Qasim Nagar Gurdwara, here today.
On the occasion, Raj Kour, President, Women Wing, NC, Bahu Fort was the chief guest, while Gourav Kumar Atri, Organizing Secretary was also present.
In senior category (boys), Sunil Choudhary, Riaz Ahmed, Ravinder Kumar and Gurdev Singh bagged first, second, third and fourth positions and were awarded with cash prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000, Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,000 respectively.
In under-18 boys, Kulwinder Singh, Roshan Choudhary, Akash and Harsh Dev Sharma clinched first, second, third and fourth positions respectively, whereas in senior girls, Manisha Kumari, Sehaj and Khushi secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In junior girls, Kiran, Sapna and Madhu bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
The officials were Surajbhan Singh, Judo Coach, Sports Council, Anil Wadhera, Boxing Coach, Sports Council, Randhu Singh, Cricket Coach, Sports Council, Raj Kumar and Rakesh Kumar, senior players and Gourav Kumar Atri (boxing instructor).
