The Super Speciality hospitals have emerged as saviours of ailing humanity especially of the rural belts of the State. Earlier, the serious patients of Jammu had no alternative but to move to AIIMS Delhi or PGI Chandigarh for the treatments of their undetected malignant diseases and their care takers had to suffer a lot both physically and financially by spending days and nights outside the state in utter desperation.
Now, the superspeciality hospital at Jammu is a boon and the new wings of cardiology, urology and neurosurgery have renewed a new hope of life for ailing patients while the expert doctors of these departments have won the hearts of patients by performing miraculous ultra modern surgeries for which patients had to move outside the state in a hopeless state.
The Vaishno Devi University has also taken a praiseworthy initiative by starting a superspeciality hospital at Katra, to serve the patients, who otherwise would prefer to die rather than to cure themselves with a heavy drain on their pockets during these hard times.
