SAMBA, Dec 8: Surjeet Singh and Rupa Sambyal have been nominated as male and female district president, respectively, of Samba district of Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum.
The nominations were made during a meeting of the Forum, held here today for this purpose as well as highlighting grievances and demands of the teaching community.
Speaking on the occasion, Forum State chairman Amar Nath Thakur and State president Satish Dutta, exhorted the teaching community to work for the betterment of students for their bright future.
Those, who attended the meeting, included Sudarshan Singh, Parveen Singh, Sahdev Singh, Rajesh Sudan, Purshotam Sethi, Rakesh Verma, Parshotam Sharma, Devinder Singh Komal, Anjana Sambyal, Bandana Sambyal, Kamini Salgotra and others.
