Suryansh’s 103 runs, 3 wkts haul guide KC Sports to crush Singh Challenger Akhnoor by 248 runs

JAMMU, June 20: Brilliant inning of 103 runs in just 42 deliveries with 3 wickets haul by Suryansh guided KC Sports to register win over Singh Challenger Akhnoor by a huge margin of 248 runs and advance into next stage of the ongoing Summer Cup Akhnoor T-20 Cricket Tournament, being organised by Singh Cricket Club at Government Higher Secondary School ground, Akhnoor today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, KC Sports put a huge target of 333 runs for 4 wickets in stipulated 20 overs, which Singh Challenger failed to chase and bundled out at paltry 85 runs for all out in 12.4 overs.
Shubham Pundeer played a superb inning of 136 runs which came of 49 deliveries. Suryansh also displayed talent and made 103 runs in just 42 balls. Abhishant made 26 runs in 15 balls.
From Singh Challenger Akhnoor side, Bunty scalped 2 wickets, whereas Lucky and Rajinder took 1 wicket apiece.
In reply, Singh Challenger Akhnoor failed to chase the pace of KC Sports bowlers and bundled out at paltry 85 runs for all out in 12.4. Sunil was the top scorer with 23 runs, whereas Bunty and Lucky contributed with 10 runs each.
From KC Sports side, Arjun Singh and Suryansh took three wickets each, followed by Sahil with 2 wickets. Amrit and Karan took 1 wicket each.
Suryansh of KC Sports was declared as man of the match for his match winning performance.
The match was officiated by Dayal Singh and Dilawer Singh, whereas Deepak Magotra maintained the scoreboard.
This tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Sham Singh Langeh, President, Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor.
