JAMMU, Mar 25: Swami Vivekananda Branch Gandhi Nagar today elected its new office bearers.
A handout stated that Vijay Sharma (retired) DC Excise was elected as President, Sat Pal Khajuria (retired) ETO as Secretary and R.S Kapai as Treasurer of the Branch for the term 2019-21.
Subash Sharma was nominated as Vice President. Earlier the President elect welcomed the members and appealed all for joining ‘Bharat Ke Vikas programme’ viz., Sampark, Sehyjog, Sanskar, Sewa and Samarpan.
Secretary of the Branch read a brief annual report for the year 2018-19.
Treasurer Kapai read out the financial statements of the Branch and Marriage Bureau.
Vice President, Subash talked about four tips of Swashatyata—Jal, Vayu, Akash, Prithvi and inner cleanliness.
Kuldeep Arora and member of Executive also spoke on the occasion while Devinder Sharma (retired) Chief Engineer coordinated in arranging the whole show.
