SWWA workers project demands, hold elections

JAMMU, May 25:  One day conference of All J&K Sheep and Wood Workers Association, (SWWA) Jammu province was held at Directorate of Sheep Husbandry Complex, Rail Head here today.
The conference was held under the leadership of Asheesh Sharma (adhoc president)  and was attended by the delegates of various districts of Jammu region. Various demands of non-Gazetted employees of the department were discussed and it was unanimously decided that after consolidating the charter of demands a deputation of the provincial body shall meet the Director, Sheep Husbandry Jammu for their reddressal.
The gathering was also addressing by  Narinder Singh, Ghulam Nabi, Gowardhan Singh, Rafiq Shah, Sagar Chand, C P Sharma, Khushal Mohd, Banashi Lal and Abdul Rashid Malik.
On the occasion, the election of the provincial body of J&K Sheep and Wool Workers Association, Jammu province was also conducted and office bearers of the association were elected.
Rajinder Singh Pawar was elected as  convenor, Khoushal Mohd as chief orgainser, Ashok Badyal as president, Govardhan Singh, Banarsi Lal, Showkat Ali Reshi, Hem Raj as vice presidents,  Narinder Singh Dard as general secretary, Tilak Raj as joint secretary, Chaman Lal as additional secretary and Abdul Rashid Malik  as publicity secretary, Rajinder Singh as cashier, Raj Kumar as additional cashier,  Lakvinder Singh, Dr Ram Lal, Anil Kumar and Ashiq Hussain as organizers,  Chitter Lekha as office secretary,  Khazan Singh, Tarsem Lal as members and Hamid Hissain Malik, I L Bhatti and Asheesh Sharma as chief advisors.
The other members of Central Working Committee shall be inducted after due consultation with district bodies.
