T10 Freedom Cup concludes at Bani

KATHUA, Dec 18: The T-10 Freedom Cricket Tournament concluded today at Bani which was organized by Bharat Sports Club.
The final match of the tournament was played between Dream XI and BNCC Duggan. The toss was won by the Dream XI and they decided to bat first. The Dream XI scored 88 runs in stipulated 12 overs. In the reply, BNCC Duggan scored 66 runs in 12 overs and Dream XI won this final match by 21 runs.
Satish Sharma, Sub District Magistrate Bani was the chief guest on the occasion, while Forest Range Officer Bani and Naresh Kumar Sharma, Block Development Officer, Shushil Singh, Station House Officer Bani, Arjun Magotra were the guests of honour. Rattan Chand Kalandri, Leader National Conference Bani was the special guest on the occasion.
The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony to felicitate the winning teams and individual performers. Trophies and Rs 50,000 cash prizes were awarded to the teams. The winning team Dream XI was awarded a cash prize of Rs 30,000 along with the trophy, while the runner-up received Rs 20,000 and trophy while Man of the Series, Kanu received Rs 2,100 and trophy.
