POONCH, Nov 10: On 76th Poonch link Up Day, 93 Infantry Brigade Poonch organized a two day long Taekwondo Championship under the categories of Junior, Sub Junior and Cadet for Boys and Girls in Poonch in which around 200 budding players participated.
The chief guest on the occasion was Lieutenant Colonel Gaurav Thapa. He also met with young budding players and encouraged them to do well. Earlier, Rajinder Singh, Physical Education Teacher and Taekwondo Coach from Department of Youth Services and Sports who is also the Technical Director of the event appreciated the Indian Army for providing an excellent platform to the Taekwondo Players in Poonch.
The games were played under the technical supervision of Rajinder Singh, National Referee, Jatinder Paul PET, Sandeep Kumar and Ashiq Hussain (Referee)
