Taekwondo teams leave to participate in National C’ship

JAMMU, May 16: Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Kyorugi teams in boys and girls categories left to participate in the 2nd Bhagwaan Mahaveer Open National Taekwondo Championship to be held from tomorrow to May 21 at Mahaveer Public School, C-Scheme Jaipur.
The teams were flagged-off by Organising Secretary JKTA Anuj Sharma.
President of JKTA PC Sharma, General Secretary DN Pangotra and other office bearers of JKTA asked the players to play the game with true sportsmanship and bring laurels to the State.
The girls’ team members are Urja, Heena, Sania, Rohitika, Saloni, Aprajita and Mansi, Sidhika.
The boys’ team members are Robin Gill, Tushar Gupta, Rahul, Jai, Shivam Sharma, Brighu Sharma, Swapnil Bhat, Vansh Manhas, Amit, Krishna Krish, Parmarth, Aryan Gupta, Danish Manzoor, Sunil, Aman, Sourav, Vaibhav Abrol and Pankaj Sharma.
The coaches accompanying the team are Rohit Sharma for girls team and Anil Singh Parihar for boys team.
