Taj bereaved

SRINAGAR, Oct 24: Allah Baksh, former member of Public Service Commission and elder brother of Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Taj Mohi-ud-Din and father-in-law of Additional Secretary, Union Ministry of Home Affairs, Khursheed Ahmed Ganaie, passed away early this morning.
His last rites were performed during the day today. Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr Farooq Abdullah were among large number of people from all walks of life who participated in the funeral of the deceased.
Omar and Dr Abdullah conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, Governor, N N Vohra condoled the sad demise of Allah Baksh, former DIG and conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family. He also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Ghulam Nabi Azad also condoled the demise of Allah Baksh and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Taj Mohi-ud-Din and the bereaved family praying for solace to the departed soul.
The Council of Ministers also condoled the demise of Allah Baksh and expressed sympathies with Taj Mohi-ud-Din and the family of Allah Baksh.
