Tajasvi of Jammu bags U-19 boys pistol gold

JAMMU, Sept 19: Securing 92 points out of 100 in Under-19 boys Pistol (.177) 10 Mtr, Tajasvi of Jammu claimed gold in the Divisional Level Inter-District Rifle Shooting Championship, which concluded at Delhi Public School (DPS), here today.
The Championship was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the patronage of its Director General, Navin Aggarwal.
Earlier, Sangram Singh and Namandeep, both of Jammu clinched silver and bronze medals in Pistol (.177) 10 Mtr Under-19 boys respectively.
In Pistol (.177) 10 Mtr Under-14 boys, Kalhan Bhat, Jagjyot Singh and Karanveer Singh (all from Jammu) clinched gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in Pistol (.177) 10 Mtr Under-17 boys, Abhay, Harvinder Pal and Harshad Khan (all from Jammu) claimed gold, silver and bronze medal respectively.
In Under-17 boys Peep Rifle 10 Mtr, Angad of Udhampur won gold, while in Under-17 girls Peep Rifle 10 Mtr, Nandika of Udhampur bagged gold and Sassya of Jammu clinched silver.
In Under-17 boys Open Side Rifle 10 Mtr, Aryaman of Jammu, Pranav of Samba and Akash of Udhampur claimed gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in Under-19 girls Open Side Rifle 10 Mtr, Anju and Bano, both from Doda bagged gold and silver medal respectively.
The Under-19 girls, Peep Rifle 10 Mtr gold went to Shriya of Jammu.
