Take early decision on 7th Pay Comm report: SGEJAC

JAMMU, Nov 21: State Govt Employees Joint Action Committee (SGEJAC) has urged upon the State Govt to take early decision on the implementation 7th Pay Commission Report and not allow the State employees to go on roads for their right.
In an executive body meeting of SGEJAC held here today under the presidium of   Sushil Sudan, Suresh Sharma and Subhash Verma- senior leaders, the speakers took stock of the resent Seventh Pay Commission report recently announced by the Centre Government. They appreciated the move which covered PSUs, Autonomous bodies, pensioners and Defense personnel. They hailed seventh Commission report and thanked the Government for making it effective with effect from  January 1, 2016 to all the Central Govt employees.
The leaders referred to the price hike all over the country and said that the employees of J&K are also affected by the sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities.  They said  the SGEJAC does not believe in confrontation with the Government and has high hopes from the Coalition Government headed by  Mufti Mohd Sayeed and appealed that the Government should also take cognizance of the recent announced Pay report and take appropriate steps in implementing the same in favour of employees of J&K State.
The Government should not allow its employees to come on the roads for   demanding and getting their legitimate rights. They also appealed Finance Minister,  Haseeb  Drabu for his kind consideration.
