‘Talaash-e-Hunner’ audition held

JAMMU, Aug 6: Aiming at promoting traditional art and culture of the State of Jammu and Kashmir, the Ram Imagine Art, Hari Om Kailash Entertainment, International Institute of Fashion Design (INFD) and the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan jointly organized the audition of the Talent Hunt ‘Talaash-e-Hunner ’ for singing, dancing and modeling at International Institute of Fashion Designing, here.
Priya Mahajan, Joint Director, Hari Om Kailash Entertainment was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Priya underlined the importance and need of folk music and folk dances in our lives, while in his welcome address, Ram Kumar, president, Ram Imagine Art said that the aim of his organization was to promote culture and custom.
Meanwhile, the organizers announced the date for next audition on August 8 and August 10, while the grand finale they said would be organized on September 9 at Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
According to a handout issued here, the winners will be awarded with mementoes, cash prize and appreciation certificates by the dignitaries in the valedictory function after the finale.
