JAMMU, Apr 26: A Talent Search Programme was jointly organized by Nirvana Academy, Aarohi Kala Sangeet Vidhalya along with Sawera NGO at NSK High School, Channi Himmat, here today.
Ram Gopal Sharma, Chairman, School Management Committee chaired the programme, while Hitesh Badyal, president Nirvana Academy and Kuldeep Kumar, Director Aarohi Kala Sangeet Vidhalya were the special guests on the occasion.
A multi cultural programme was presented on the occasion in which debate and music competition was also organized. Programme started with a dance performance presented by the students of the school which was highly applauded by the guest and children followed by debate competition on topic “India renaissance”.
Ram Devi sang a bhajan ‘Kon Kehte hain ke bhagwan aate nahi’ which was highly appreciated by the children and the guests, which was followed by melodious old songs sung by the participants of the music competition.
Ram Gopal Sharma, Hitesh Badyal and Kuldeep Kumar spoke on the occasion.
S K Abrol, Principal of the School presented vote of thanks.
In Debate competition, Dropati won 1st prize, Pooja bagged 2nd prize and Umesh got 3rd prize, while in Music competition, Ram Devi got 1st prize, Reetu won 2nd prize and Kushboo Raj bagged 3rd.
Participants included Dropati, Pooja, Umesh, Ajay, Ram Devi, Reetu, Kushboo Raj, Raj Kumari, Roshni Rajak, Sikha, Kranti, Drupti, Neha, Arti, Jyoti and Pooja. Arush Gupta, Amit Bhawra and Pranav Sharma accompanied on Guitar and percussion.
