JAMMU, Dec 6: Cultural Display Your Talent Show was conducted at Police Auditorium by Divya Kala Manch in collaboration with Jammu Police and Project Model Higher Secondary School Janipur, here.
Dr. Sunil Gupta SSP Jammu distributed the prizes among the winners on the occasion.
The show was organized with an aim to provide platform to the budding school children in dancing and singing.
Around 250 participants from about 25 recognized schools of Jammu participated in the cultural extravaganza.
Project Model School and Dr Ambedkar School jointly claimed the first position, while ACM Public School won the 2nd prize and the Aryans Little Bird School, Bishnah clinched the third prize.
The performances thrilled and scintillated the fully packed house and were enjoyed by the dignitaries.
While addressing the gathering and school students and participants, the chief guest SSP Jammu, Dr Sunil Gupta lauded the efforts of the organizers for having brought the large number of students in the competition.
He said such activities support the cause of law abidance and channelizing the energy of youth.
The show was organized under the supervision of Divya Sharma.
Present on the occasion was Vikrant Sharma, Principal Project Model Higher Secondary School, Jammu who thanked the parents and children for making the programme a success
Rajesh Gill, Chief Prosecuting Officer from Jammu Police who was instrumental in programme’s success, while Arti Bahl Advocate, Prof Jyoti of University of Jammu and Prof. Maansi Sharma were the adjudicators of the event.
Vivek Sharma was also present on the occasion.
