JAMMU, Oct 27: The 29th Jammu District Billiards & Snooker Championship 2024 showcased impressive performances at the Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today Organized by the Billiards & Snooker Association of J&K under the J&K Sports Council, the event featured emerging talents in the Junior and Sub-Junior categories.
In the Sub-Junior category, Divansh Abrol and Hardik Gupta clinched their places in the finals. Divansh defeated Tanmay Kapoor with a 2-0 score, posting scores of 53-25 and 50-39. Hardik also emerged victorious against Samarveer in a closely contested match, winning 2-0 with scores of 50-44 and 70-60.
In the Junior category, Tanush and Sudhanshu advanced to the finals. Tanush outplayed Sahil with a 2-0 win, scoring 55-45 and 75-63, while Sudhanshu defeated Hardik with scores of 63-55 and 45-34, securing his spot in the finals.
The event also kicked off matches in the senior category, expected to bring high competition in the upcoming days. The final matches in each category are highly anticipated, promising an exciting conclusion to this championship.
