JAMMU, Oct 22: Sub Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir Police Tarun Gandotra has been selected as member of Indian team to represent the country in 17th Asian Roller Skating Championship to be held at Lishui, China from tomorrow to November 1.
Tarun Gandotra presently posted at J&K Police Centre Sports Team, Jammu has been selected by Roller Skating Federation of India and is attending the coaching-cum-conditioning camp at Faridabad.
Gandotra, an international player has won more than 30 medals in nationals and All India open Championship. Recently in the month of June this year, he represented India in World Inline Hockey Championship held at Italy. He has represented Indian earlier in world championships held at Venezuela, twice at Italy and Asian Championships at India and China.
Tarun gives credit of his selection in the international tournaments to his had work and since coaching at Gulshan Ground along with other players of J&K Police Centre Sports team.
