PATHANKOT, Apr 1: Prize Distribution Function of 4th Annual Abhishek Sports Meet was held at tawi Technical Campus,here today.
Thakur Dinesh Singh Babbu, MLA Sujanpur, Punjab was the Chief Guest who distributed prizes among the winners.
Er. Vidhi S. Singh, Chairman Tawi Group of Colleges & Er.Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, Tawi Group of Colleges were the Guests of Honour.
While welcoming the Chief Guest, Er. Vidhi S. Singh expressed gratitude for sparing his precious time for gracing the occasion.
He also announced cash prize to the winners.
Star Eleven of Tawi Technical Campus won final match of cricket, while Pathankot Group of Colleges won the final match of Volleyball. Ranjit Singh of Hostel Warriors was adjudged as man of the series in cricket tournament. Kajal Diman of Tawi Technical Campus won first prize in Badminton. Talwinder Singh of Tawi Technical Campus bagged first prize in Table Tennis, while Nitin and Vikram from Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology clinched 2nd and 3rd prize in Table Tennis respectively.
In his Presidential address the chief guest lauded the performance of Tawi Group of Colleges in all the spheres and appreciated the free academic support offered to financially weak and downtrodden children under “Abhicare Society”.
Prof BR Moza, Convener, presented vote of thanks. and he Er. Anuj Tidyal, Member Secretary and other Sports Committee Members were present on the occasion.
