TCS to set up centre on intelligent systems at IIIT Hyderabad

HYDERABAD, July 23:  Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today said it is establishing FC Kohli Centre on Intelligent Systems (KCIS) at International Institute of Information Technology (Hyderabad) with an investment of Rs 20 crore.
TCS said in a statement that KCIS will act as an umbrella organisation at the institute to both strengthen the existing groups and facilitate new activities in the related areas.
KCIS will also focus on entrepreneurship promotion in the intelligent system area as startup companies are the best means to transform the research in the academic labs for the benefit of the society at large, the release said. (PTI)
