KATRA, May 30: Adding new feather to the prestige of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has upgraded its ranking for placements from ‘C’ to ‘B’.
By getting ‘B’ ranking, SMVDU is now eligible for necessary annual visits of TCS for campus placements, all entitlements for placement and academic initiatives equivalent to National Institutes of Technology (NITs). The new accreditation will also reflect upon substantial rise in the packages of the students getting placements.
It is pertinent to note that a team of experts from TCS had recently visited SMVDU for thorough examination of functioning and achievements of all the departments and had interacted with all students and faculty members.
