Teachers should prepare youth of today for better future: Sham Lal Sharma

JAMMU, Dec 21: Asking the educationists to think of bringing a suitable change in the present-day education system to ensure holistic child development, the former Minister and Senior vice president JKPCC was speaking at an Annual Day Function of Tiny Aspirant Public Higher SecondarySschool, Jourian Akhnoor today.
Sharma said that .With moral education, Teachers should prepare the youth of today for a better future. Also, the new education system should be such that it would create more young visionary leaders for the country.
” Mr Sham said that teachers have greater responsibility towards the nation and they should discharge their duty with missionary spirit. He asked them to shape the career of students in such a way that they become good citizens to take future challenges.
“We have to strike a balance in a way that curricular and extra-curricular activities go hand-in-hand and young children enjoy their childhood while studying”, he added.
The chief guest lavished praise for the School Management for the excellence of the School. Later on the dignitaries felicitated the meritorious scholars who excelled in scholastic and co-scholastic areas.
Other who spoke on the occasion were  Kulbushan Magotra(Retd Dy Comissionar),  Varinder Kr Sharma (Lect Phy Education), Seema Sharma, Principal presented vote of thanks to the chief guest and guest of honor and parent for attending the function.
