JAMMU, Dec 14: J&K UT level Kabaddi teams for men and women left for participation in the 15th Senior National Circle Style Kabaddi Championship, scheduled to be held at Chandigarh from December 17 to 19.
It was announced by general secretary of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association Surinder Mohan Gupta, here today who said that the UT level team will participate in the National championship under the banner of J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association and J&K Sports Council.
Anil Gupta, president Kabaddi Association distributed sports kits among the selected players in the presence of Surinder Mohan, Sanjit Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Anil Sharma, Dharamjeet Singh and Gautam.
The selected teams were also screened by the screening committee of J&K Sports Council, headed by Satish Kumar, Manager Indoor Stadium.
Men team: Chandan Sharma, Ajay, Aijaz Manzoor, Nahid Hussain, Arshid Ahmed, Ankush Singh, Mohd Gulla, Davinder Singh, Sahil Sangoch, Maqbool, Pankaj Manhas, Ramanpreet Singh, Rishab Sharma and Jasvir Singh, while Dharamjeet Singh, Gulzar Ahmedi and Rakesh Kumar will accompany the team as coach, assistant coach and manager of the team respectively.
Women team: Mano Bibi, Suman Kumari, Indra Sharma, Mauifat Jan, Priya Kumari, Rajni Charak, Priyanka Kumari, Anuradha, Yasmin Kousir, Asha Devi, Ruqsana Begum, Sapna Devi, Sakshi Saini and Manu Jasrotia, whereas Shashi Sharma, Nisha Rani and Sanjit Kumar will accompany the team as manager, coach and assistant coach of the team respectively.
