JAMMU, July 16: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Power Lifting Association organised State level (men and women) Equipped and Unequipped Bench-Press, Deadlift and Powerlifting Championship and also selected the state team for upcoming Junior National Championship to be held at Begampura in Delhi from August 13 to August 15, 2019.
The competition also decided the individual titles. And the Powerman title went to Rahul Singh and Rohit Sharma while Neete Johar was named Powerwomen of the event.
Meanwhile, it was on the basis of merit basis that teams were selected for the upcoming National event in the presence
of General Secretary of the Association, Rajan Jain, Harimohinder Singh, Narender Singh Manhas (secretary), Shiv Dev Singh (ex-MLA), Rakesh Pandoh (joint secretary), Mridual Ghai (media secretary), Vijay (member), Iqbal Singh (joint secretary) and other officials.
