JAMMU, May 17: Two day Tech Fest “Nirvikalpa-2K23” concluded today at Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology which saw a huge participation from the students of YCET, IMS, IECS Polytechnic, GCET, MBSCET and Govt. Polytechnic for Women.
On the valedictory function Dr. Ravi Shanker Sharma, JKAS, was the chief-guest and Chand Singh JKAS, Deputy Secretary to the Government Transport Department, Civil Secretariat, Jammu, was the guest of honor.
Er Vidhi S. Singh, Chairman, JGEI, Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman, JGEI and Er Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI, welcomed the chief guest and the special guest by presenting them bouquets and mementoes.
Er. Rajnish Magotra, HoD Civil Engineering Department, YCET, presented the formal welcome address.
The chief guest in his speech encouraged the next generation of engineers to energetically take part in such technical fests. Additionally, he commended the YCET for holding such an important occasion.
Chairman JGEI, Er. Vidhi S. Singh, in his speech, uplifted the students and appreciated their participation in various events during the two-day tech fest. He motivated and encouraged the students with his inspiring words.
Some of the highlights of the program conducted on day two were Fashion Show, Display Your Talent, DJ, etc.
Fashion Show bagged the occasion with ample hooping and applause. The audience was fascinated with the drop-dead catwalk by the students of YCET and IMS. The Fashion Show was then followed by Display Your Talent, where students from various institutes participated and showcased their talent.
Prize distribution was also held where the prizes (cash prize and trophies) to the winners among the 20 events were given.
In the end, the event was summed up with the vote of thanks presented by Er. Dinesh Gupta, Dean Academics, YCET. Dr. Mukesh Kumar Rana, Director, YCET, also gave his warm wishes.
The tech fest was an electrifying and memorable experience for one and all.
