JAMMU, Apr 13: Tech-Fest under the name ‘Technomania-2016’ was celebrated at Tawi Technical Campus, Shahpur Kandi in Punjab, today. Amit Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Pathankot presided over the function as the chief guest.
The function started with the welcome address by Er Renu Bangroo, Managing Director of the Institution. The Managing Director gave a brief of the long journey of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions in the field of Technical education.
Er Vidhi S. Singh Jamwal briefed the chief guest about the intimate concern of Jamwal Group to extend their support to the needy and especially the weaker sections of the society.
On this occasion, Th. Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman and the staff of Tawi Technical Campus were also present.
More than 1100 students and staff members attended the function.
The students from different Colleges viz Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET), Institute of Engineering & Computer Sciences (IECS), North Polytechnic (NP), Jammu and Sri Sai Institute of Technology, Badhani, Pathankot, participated in various events organized by the College.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the College authorities for their excellent performance in the field of Technical Education.
