JAMMU, Mar 17: The Government today ordered suspension of Tehsildar, HQA to DC Reasi and Naib Tehsildar, Katra with immediate effect for concealing right information in a Revenue extract and thus causing loss to the State exchequer in the form of stamp duty.
According to separate orders in this regard; pending enquiry, Tehsildar Kunal Sharma and Naib Tehsildar Hukam Chand are placed under suspension with immediate effect in terms of Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeals) Rules, 1956.
During the period of suspension, both Kunal Sharma and Hukam Chand shall remain attached with the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
Principal Secretary, Revenue Department has also been asked to immediately initiate regular departmental action against both the officers.
