Ten cueists make it to next stage of Junior Snooker Championship

JAMMU, Oct 20: Ten cueists made it to the next stage of the Junior Snooker Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA), at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
In the first match, Mohit Khajuria defeated Saaid Bashir by 2-0, whereas in the second match, Rohit Chowdhary registered win over Huzaiff Mohammad by 2-1.
Sankalp Soni thrashed Sunnt Gupta by 2-0 in the third game, whereas in the fourth game, Abhishek Mehra beat Ashish Thakur by 2-1.
In the fifth match, Aquib Farooq registered win over Varun Jamwal by 2-0, whereas in the sixth match, Umang Gupta crushed Aman by 2-1.
Harjot Singh outplayed Aasim by 2-0 in the seventh match, whereas in the eighth match, Furkan Wani registered win over Saksham Gupta by 2-0.
In the ninth match, Rajat Choudhary outclassed Shivam Badyal by 2-0, whereas in the 10th game, Pankaj Kumar registered win over Ansh Chopra by 2-0.
The matches were being held under strict supervision of the JKBSA members and played with the rules and regulations of Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI).
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Sharma, Pawan Khajuria and Ashok.
Meanwhile, Ansh Chopra will take on Vasu Gupta in the Senior Snooker Championship summit clash on October 24.
According to JKBSA spokesman, the last date of entries for Senior Snooker is October 24.
