POONCH, Feb 2: Three day long District Poonch Tennis Ball Cricket Championship commenced at OP Hill Station Sagra Mendhar, here today.
About 12 teams from the district are participating, which was inaugurated by Imran Zaffar Chowdhary District Development Council Member Block Mankote Mendhar.
The championship is being organised by the District Tennis Ball Cricket Association under the aegis of J&K Tennis Ball Cricket Association and sponsored by J&K Sports Council which is being played on league cum knockout basis.
Mast Kalandar Club defeated Five Star Cub by 2 wickets, while Dream-XI trounced Blue Star Club by 3 wickets, FCC Sagra got better of LOC Club Ghani by 2 wickets and Sakhai-Maidan Club defeated Chhajla Club by 1 wicket.
