NOWSHERA, July 28: NTSHI Society organized Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament at Minawar Cricket Stadium concluded here today.
Sixteen teams participated in the Tournament, wherein Bulls Eleven Nowshera and Nowshera Cricket Club reached the final and vied for the top honours in the summit clash today.
In the final, Bulls Eleven won the toss and decided to bat first and scored a decent total of 187 runs. Vishal top scored with unbeaten 70 runs, while Bukesh Sharma and Kashish Sharma contributed 45 and 34 runs respectively. For Nowshera Cricket Club, Lokesh was the pick of the bowlers, who took 3 important wickets.
Nowshera Cricket Club, in reply lost the wickets at regular intervals to lose the match by a big margin.Vishal Sharma was adjudged man of the match, while Amit Dutta claimed the man of the series title.
Prominent among those who were present on the valedictory function were Naresh Kumar, Chairman of NTSHI Society, Rakesh Choudhary, Deepak Gupta, Jugal Kishore and Ram Saroop Sharma. They distributed medals, trophies and cash prize among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
