Srinagar: Terrorists wearing army fatigue thrashed two special police officers (SPOs) for delivering a letter of a police personnel at his residence in Kashmir. The terrorists also accused the SPOs of being ‘’informers’’ of the army.
A video has surfaced in the valley, though its veracity can’t be verified, in which two terrorists have tied down two local Kashmiri youth, working as SPO. Speaking in the local Kashmir language one of the terrorists thrashes SPO accusing them of delivering a letter of a police personnel
The terrorists torture them by putting their head in a water bucket. The SPO admits to having delivered the letter and pleads for pardon promising of not repeating it. The terrorists even cut off of the hair with a sarcastic remarks that since they (SPOs) will need a special hair cut to get recruited in army they (terrorists) will do that itself here.
The terrorists have been threatening local police personnel and there has been spurt in attacks against them. The DGP Dr SP Vaid had only recently advised the police personnel to not visit their homes in the South Kashmir .
