Sir,
Now the elections are at hand. The Model Code of Conduct is in force and the candidates are busy in wooing the voters.
God knows what is in store for the world’s largest democracy in the coming Lok Sabha polls. One can predict that people pine for good governance and the rudderless vessel of the nation needs stable steermen to save her from the tornado of troubles. The recent debut of AAP in Delhi elections reveals that people want change.
In a democratic set up, people are the fountain head of power and they can elect or reject their representatives after watching their performance and evaluating it during five years tenure. They should think twice before casting their vote for the stability of the nation. They should not allow tainted representatives to come back through their valuable vote.
The President in his Republic Day address apprehended that the fractured mandate shall be the greatest catastrophe for the Nation.
In a nutshell, people of the country crave for good governance, devoid of rapes and riots, crimes and corruption. People also want black money and black marketing to be rooted out of the motion so that they can live a dignified democratic life without fear or favour for which great well wishers of the nation sacrificed their lives to keep the flame of the democratic fabric of the nation alive. Only the time will tell and let us hope for the best.
Yours etc….
