Theft case solved, 3 thieves nabbed

SAMBA, Jan 19: Samba Police today solved a theft case by arresting three thieves and recovering stolen iron pipes from their possession.
“Acting on a written complaint received on January 18 by JE MES regarding theft of 90 m iron pipe line from ‘Khad’ near Peer Baba Rakh Amb Talli, a case FIR Number 12/2023 U/S 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started,” a police spokesman said.
He said during the course of investigation, a team of Police Station Samba comprising SHO Samba Inspector Deepak Jasrotia and PSI Aabber Khan under the supervision of Deputy SP Headquarters Samba Mohd Usman and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary arrested three thieves identified as Dheeraj alias Goru of Kehli Mandi (Samba), Ashok Singh alias Madhu of Rakh Amb Talli (Samba) and Abhishek Sambyal alias Binni of Kehli Mandi (Samba).
“During sustained interrogation, the arrested accused confessed their involvement in the theft of iron pipes and on their disclosure recovery of stolen items was made,” the spokesman said, adding, further investigation of the case was going on.
