JAMMU, May 24: Thieves struck in a house of a doctor at Rehari area and decamped with Rs 35 lakh cash and gold jewellery weighing 38 tolas.
As per police sources, thieves barged into the house of Dr Kulbhushan Sharma in Rehari area and decamped with Rs 35 lakh cash and gold jewellery weighing 38 tolas.
The owner of the house came to know about the burglary and immediately informed the police about the incident.
The complainant in his complaint stated that all the family members were sleeping on the first floor of the building and the burglars struck into the ground floor and escaped with Rs 35 lakh and gold jewellery weighing 38 tolas.
A case in this regard has been registered and manhunt has been launched to nab the thieves.
However no arrest was made till late tonight.
